Analog Devices Inc. EVAL-ADuM4195-1EBZ Evaluation Board is a compact isolated DC voltage monitoring board designed to evaluate the characteristics of the ADUM4195-1. The ADUM4195-1 features very low offset and gain error, suitable for many isolated voltage sensing applications.
The ADI EVAL-ADuM4195-1EBZ board provides two separate inputs. The P1000 input is pre-configured to accept up to 1kVDC, while the P200 input can be user-configured for voltages up to 200VDC. Additional connectors enable access to the isolated 5VDC supply and the shutdown (SD) input of the ADUM4195-1.
The output of the ADUM4195-1 is directly accessible (pre-configured) or possibly first-order low-pass filtered by adding a resistor and a capacitor. A single 5VDC supply is acceptable to power both the input and output side of the board, while the optional power disable (PDIS) pin can be used to disable the onboard supply in applications where low-power consumption is at a premium.
