Analog Devices EVAL-ADATE304 Evaluation Board has a complete feature design to enable a simple evaluation of the ADATE304. The ADATE304 is a dual-integrated driver, comparator, active load (DCL), and four-quadrant per pin parametric measurement unit (PPMU). The EVAL-ADATE304BBCZ offers breakout connections through the SMA terminals for all the signal inputs and outputs. The differential pairs are supplied with 50Ω controlled impedance traces with equal lengths.
The ADI EVAL-ADATE304BBCZ requires only two power supplies, +21V and -10V. The onboard regulators create all other voltages needed for the device. An onboard USB UART chip provides the EVAL-ADATE304BBCZ SPI communications. SPI jumper connectors allow users to bypass the UART and connect the SPI signals for evaluation. The default setup is for control via the USB port. Communication with the ADATE304 evaluation board software is through the USB, and the light emitting diode (LED) indicators on the EVAL-ADATE304BBCZ produce displays for the read and write data.
