Analog Devices Inc. DC2711A Demo Board is a 42V, 1.5A synchronous step-down regulator, including the LT8608S. The LT8608S is a compact, high-efficiency, high-speed synchronous monolithic step-down switching regulator with a second-generation Silent Switcher® structure designed to minimize EMI and reduce PCB layout sensitivity. The DC2711A Demo Board enables 5V output from a 5.5V to 42V input.
The ADI DC2711A Demo Board’s SYNC pin is grounded by default for low ripple Burst Mode® operation. Moving JP1 to the PULSE SKIPPING position can change the operation mode to the pulse-skipping process. Once JP1 is on the SPREAD SPECTRUM position, VCC is applied to the SYNC pin for low EMI spread spectrum operation. Move JP1 to SYNC and use the external clock to the SYNC turret to synchronize to an external clock.
