Analog Devices Inc. ADR1399 Precision Shunt Reference offers excellent temperature stability over a wide range of voltage, temperature, and quiescent current conditions. The ADR1399 combines a temperature stabilizing loop with the active Zener on a monolithic substrate, almost eliminating changes in voltage with temperature.
The ADR1399 subsurface Zener circuit is fully specified at a quiescent current IREF of 3mA and allows minimal noise (1.44μV p-p, 0.1Hz to 10Hz) and excellent long-term stability (7ppm/√kHr).
The ADI ADR1399 delivers a much lower output dynamic impedance (0.08Ω) than the LM399, reducing the shunt resistor (RSHUNT) and the supply voltage variation on the reference output.
The ADR1399 Precision Shunt Reference is designed for applications including ultrastable digital voltmeters, precision calibration equipment, and ultra repeatable analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
