Analog Devices Inc. ADPA7002 Power Amplifiers

Analog Devices Inc. ADPA7002 Power Amplifiers are gallium arsenide (GaAs), pseudomorphic high electron mobility transfer (pHEMT), monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC), 28dBm (1/2W) amplifiers. The ADPA7002 incorporates a temperature-compensated on-chip power detector with an operating range between 18GHz and 44GHz.

The ADI ADPA7002 power amps deliver 15dB of small signal gain and 30dBm of saturated output power (PSAT) at 32GHz from a 5V supply. With an IP3 of 38dBm, the device is ideal for linear applications such as electronic countermeasure and instrumentation applications requiring >28dBm of efficient PSAT. The RF inputs and outputs of the amps are internally matched, and DC is blocked for ease of integration into higher-level assemblies.

The ADPA7002 is available in a 6mm x 6mm ceramic leadless chip with a heat sink (LCC_HS) that displays low thermal resistance and is compatible with surface-mount manufacturing techniques.
