Analog Devices Inc. ADF4377 Low Jitter Microwave Wideband Synthesizers

Analog Devices Inc. ADF4377 Low Jitter Microwave Wideband Synthesizers are high-performance, ultra-low jitter, and dual-output integer-N Phased Locked Loop (PLL) with integrated Voltage-Controlled Oscillators (VCO). These high-performance PLL feature a -239dBc/Hz figure of merit, ultra-low 1/f Noise, and a high Phase Frequency Detector (PFD) frequency that can achieve ultralow in-band noise and integrated jitter. The fundamental VCO and output divider generate frequencies from 800MHz to 12.8GHz. The ADF4377 synthesizers integrate supply bypass capacitors, saving board space on compact boards.

The ADF4377 synthesizers simplify clock alignment and calibration routines customarily required with other clock solutions for multiple data converters and Mixed-signal Front-End (MxFE) clock applications. This simplification is due to automatic reference to output synchronization, sub-ps, and well-matched reference to output delays across process, voltage, and temperature. These synthesizers are ideally used in testing and measurement, wireless infrastructures, and high-performance data converters.
