Analog Devices Inc. AD3542R Dual Channel DACs

Analog Devices Inc. AD3542R Dual Channel Digital-to-Analog Converters (DACs) are ultra-fast, low drift, 16-bit accuracy, voltage output converters. These AD3542R DACs are 16 MUPS, multi-IO SPI configured with multiple voltages span ranges. The AD3542R operates with a fixed reference voltage of 2.5V. These devices are designed with three drift compensating feedback resistors for the internal Trans-impedance Amplifier (TIA) which scales the output voltage. The typical applications of AD3542R are in instrumentation, medical devices, data acquisition system, and optical communications.

The AD3542R exhibits multiple output span ranges as the offset and gain scaling registers allow its generation. These converters drive on fast mode for maximum speed or precision mode for maximum accuracy. The AD3542R converters are compatible with both 1.2V and 1.8V logic levels and can be configured in single SPI mode, dual SPI mode, and synchronous dual SPI mode.
