ams OSRAM PLPT5 Blue Laser Diodes are multi-mode operating semiconductor laser diodes with a typical wavelength of 447nm. These diodes are an efficient radiation source for Continuous-Wave (CW) and pulse operation. The ams OSRAM PLPT5 blue laser diodes feature high modulation bandwidth and emit highly concentrated visible light that can be hazardous to the human eye. The products that incorporate these devices have to follow the safety precautions found in IEC 60825, “Safety of laser products”. Typical applications include laser projections, laser shows, electronic equipment, stage lighting, illumination, endoscopy, and metrology.
