ams OSRAM AS1170 High-Current LED/VCSEL Driver ICs

ams OSRAM AS1170 High-Current LED/VCSEL Driver ICs are high-efficiency DCDC step-up converters with two current sinks. The ams OSRAM AS1170 operates at a fixed frequency of 4MHz and features a soft startup for seamless integration into noise-sensitive RF systems. The device provides protection functions, including flash timeout, overvoltage, over-temperature, undervoltage, and short circuits. Controlled via an I2C interface, the AS1170 has an automatic shutdown if SCL=0 for 100ms, eliminating the need for an additional enable input. The driver’s compact WL-CSP package measures only 2.25mm x 1.5mm x 0.6mm.
