Amphenol Piher PSCI High-Speed Inductive Position Sensors are designed for hybrid / electric vehicle (HEV/EV) powertrain systems to provide feedback on the direction, speed, and angular position of the rotor shaft to optimize control of the motor inverter. These slim, lightweight sensors can be mounted on the same shaft as the electric machine rotor to provide high-speed rotary motion sensing with a robust design against external magnetic interference fields. The sensors are fully sealed and suitable for harsh environments with an operating temperature range of -40°C to +150°C. Amphenol Piher PSCI High-Speed Inductive Position Sensors offer up to 600K (electrical) RPM speed (differential sine and cosine output). The series is AEC-Q100, Grade 0 automotive qualified and available in 6, 8, and 12 standard pole numbers.
