Allegro MicroSystems Multiple Output Regulators support two to ten outputs from a single input supply. These outputs are construed from a combination of buck, LDO, boost or charge pump topologies depending on the application requirements, as well as high-side gate drivers for driving input and load disconnect FETs.
The Allegro MicroSystems Multiple Output Regulators feature highly robust fault detection/protection, high temperature up to 150°C operations, and a comprehensive input range capability. These features allow the devices to operate seamlessly through input voltage transients, including automotive load dump and idle-stop conditions.
The innovative architecture enables the power and communication interface with the host MCU to be compatible with a wide variety of MCU vendors, including multiple and programmable MCU watchdog types.
