ADI Trinamic TMC6200 3-Half Bridge Gate Driver

Analog Devices Inc. TMC6200 3-Half Bridge Gate Driver is a high-power gate driver for PMSM servo or BLDC motors. The TMC6200 Gate Driver utilizes six external MOSFETs and two or three sense resistors, integrating the full high voltage part of a PMSM drive system for 12V, 24V, or 48V, including in-line current sense amplifiers with programmable amplification.

The ADI TMC6200 3-Half Bridge Gate Driver is intended to drive a wide range of motors from watt to kilowatt. A software-controlled drive strength allows in-system EME optimization. The device offers programmable safety features like short detection and overtemperature thresholds and an SPI interface for diagnostics that enable robust and reliable designs.

The TMC6200 requires a minimum number of external components to build a rugged drive with complete protection and diagnostics.
