Renesas Electronics RX66N Target Board (RTK5RX66N0C00000BJ) is an evaluation, prototyping, and development platform for the RX66N 120MHz 32-Bit Microcontrollers. The RX66N MCUs feature an RXv3 CPU core, 1MB SRAM, and up to 4MB flash memory. These devices support a single voltage supply ranging from 2.7V to 3.6V and include Ethernet MAC, SD host interface, quad SPI, and CAN interfaces. The RX66N MCUs also feature robust security with unique cryptographic-key protection and hardware cryptography accelerators supporting ECC and RSA.
The Renesas Electronics RX66N Target Board includes a pre-installed RX66N MCU in an LQFP-100 package. The Target Board also features an emulator circuit, enabling users to test application designs without further tool investments. The RX66N Target Board provides through-holes for pin headers that allow access to all MCU signal pins, allowing easy prototyping with a breadboard. A Pmod™ connector allows users to further enhance functionality by connecting Wi-Fi® modules, sensor modules, or other peripheral devices.
The e2 studio is an Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for Renesas MCUs. In addition to a powerful code editor, the e2 studio offers a rich range of extended functions. The e2 studio covers all development processes, from the downloading of sample code to debugging.
