ams OSRAM TSL2520 Ambient Light Sensor

ams OSRAM TSL2520 Ambient Light Sensor provides fast ALS sensing under any glass type. The TSL2520 is designed to fit in the gap between the display screen and the chassis of a smartphone. The accuracy and high sensitivity of this device, measuring ambient light levels down to just 1mlux, support responsive display brightness management and help improve camera image quality.

The TSL2520 features four photodiodes for visible light sensing and two infrared photodiodes, a combination that allows for the rejection of IR interference and produces very accurate measurements of ambient light intensity (lux).

The ams OSRAM TSL2520 Ambient Light Sensor is offered in a compact, low-profile 2.0mm x 1.0mm x 0.5mm optical QFN package ideal for space-constrained applications.
