Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP86936 Intelli-Phase™ Solution

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MP86936 Intelli-Phase™ Solution includes an integrated monolithic half-bridge driver and built-in internal power MOSFETs. The MP86936 delivers 60A of continuous output current across a wide input supply range. The device implements a monolithic IC design to drive up to 60A per phase. Integrated drivers and MOSFETs offer high efficiency by optimizing dead time and reducing parasitic inductance.

The MPS MP86936 Intelli-Phase Solution works with controllers with a tri-state PWM signal and operates from 100kHz to 3MHz. The device features a simple system design via an accurate, current sense (Accu-Sense™) to monitor the inductor current and temperature sense to report the junction temperature.

The MP86936 is ideally suited for server applications where efficiency and small size are at a premium. The device is in a small TQFN-23 (3mm x 6mm) package.
