FTDI Chip FT245RN USB FIFO ICs

FTDI Chip FT245RN USB FIFO ICs feature asynchronous and synchronous FIFO along with bit-bang/GPIO interface modes. USB to parallel designs utilizing the FT245RN has been further simplified by fully integrating the external EEPROM, clock circuit, and USB resistors onto the device.

The FTDI Chip FT245RN USB FIFO ICs is a “2-in-1” chip for some application areas, unlike its predecessors.

The FT245RN is housed in Pb-free (RoHS compliant) compact 28-pin SSOP (FT245RNL) and 32-pin QFN (FT245RNQ) packages.
