Ambiq Apollo4 Lite System-on-Chip

Ambiq Apollo4 Lite System-on-Chip offers feature-rich capabilities and optimizes memory and peripherals, providing the Apollo4 family with a lightweight solution. The Apollo4 Lite is conveniently pin-compatible to its superset variant, Apollo4 Plus. It offers users the optimum flexibility to innovate with smooth, vibrant graphics in next-generation wearables and smart IoT devices. The Apollo4 Lite SoC is based on Ambiq’s proprietary Subthreshold Power-Optimized Technology (SPOT®) platform.

The Ambiq Apollo4 Lite is a complete hardware and software solution that enables battery-powered endpoint devices to achieve a higher level of intelligence without surrendering battery life. The Apollo4 Lite contains a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 core with a Floating Point Unit embedded in a BGA package.

With 2MB of MRAM and 1.4MB of SRAM, the Apollo4 Lite has optimal computing and storage to process complex algorithms and neural networks while displaying vibrant, crystal-clear, and smooth graphics. External memory is supported through Ambiq’s high bandwidth multi-bit SPI and eMMC interfaces if additional memory is required.

The Apollo4 Lite is purpose-built to serve as an application processor and a co-processor for battery-powered endpoint devices, including smartwatches, fitness bands, animal trackers, voice-activated remotes, digital health products, industrial maintenance, and smart home IoT devices.
