Heyco Nylon Bushings

Heyco Nylon Bushings insulate and mechanically protect electrical and telecommunications cables, tubing, hoses, ropes, and utility lines. These bushings offer single to multiple-step locking for a range of panel thicknesses and are available within a mounting hole diameter range of 4.7mm to 63.5mm. Locking features include fingertip-pressure snap-locks, locking fingers, and flexible shutters.

  • Open/Closed Bushings
    • 9.5mm to 63.5mm mounting hole diameter range
    • Split design allows side entry and encirclement of preassembled harnesses, capillary tubes, computer cables, power cords, or other assemblies with segments larger than the bushing’s I.D.
    • May also be assembled into holes that already contain cable, wire, or other filaments
    • Fingertip pressure snap-locks the bushing into its mounting hole
    • Locking fingers in fractional increments up to the maximum panel thickness
    • UL 94V-2, Nylon 6/6 material
    • -18°C to +105°C temperature range
  • Open/Closed Shorty Bushings
    • Single locking step for panel thickness up to 1.6mm
    • 7.0mm to 27.0mm mounting hole diamter range
    • Lower overall height protrudes less through thin mounting panels, thus occupying less “real estate” inside the user applications
    • Split design allows side entry and encirclement of preassembled harnesses, power cords, capillary tubes, or other assemblies that have segments larger than the bushing’s I.D.
    • May also be assembled into holes that already contain cable, wire, or other filaments
    • Fingertip pressure snap-locks the bushing into its mounting hole

    • 12.7mm to 63.5mm mounting hole diameter range

    • Parts can be assembled into holes that already contain cables or tubing
    • Only fingertip pressure is required to snap-lock the bushing into its mounting hole

    • Flexible shutters adjust to accommodate and support any shape from 3.2mm to a maximum inside diameter of 43.2mm

  • Shorty Bushings
    • Single locking step for panel thickness up to 1.6mm
    • 4.7mm to 27.8mm mounting hole diamter range
    • Lower overall height protrudes less through thin mounting panels; thus Shorty Bushings occupy less “real estate” inside user applications
    • Insulating feed-thru bushings for limited internal clearance, 3.2mm minimum
    • Insulate and isolate electric or telecommunications cables, low RPM shafts, and push-pull rods
    • Locking fingers hold securely after only fingertip pressure snap-in installation
    • Locking fingers in fractional increments up to the maximum panel thickness

    • Flexible shutters adjust to accommodate and support any shape from 3.2mm to a maximum inside diameter of 20.6mm
