Apex Tool Group Weller WXsmart Soldering Tips are designed to work with the WXsmart Soldering System. The tips are fully compliant with IPC industry standards (IPC-TM-650 2.5.33 Measurement of Electrical Overstress from Soldering Hand Tools). These high-performance tips offer fast, safe, and easy tip exchange as well as clear-identification smart tips. Additional features include accurate data results with a tip-offset function, full process control with a tip-lock function, and full traceability with an ID number and integrated data storage. Apex Tool Group Weller WXsmart Soldering Tips provide a fast heat-up time with 3s for the RTPS series, 5s for the RTMS, and 7s for the RTUS.
The RTPS tips are designed for pico applications that require component work under a microscope in sizes 0402 to 01005 (XS to S). The RTMS tips are ideal for micro and standard soldering applications with component sizes 0504 to 1608 (M to L), and the RTUS tips are made for heavy-duty applications with large component sizes from 1612 and larger (XL to XXL).
