Broadcom Thin Film Pyroelectric Single Channel Sensor

Broadcom / Avago Thin Film Pyroelectric Single-Channel Sensor is designed for gas detection and substance concentration measurements. The sensor features high responsivity, low microphonics, and class-leading thermal and electrical stability. The high-performance current mode sensor supplies a signal to noise of ~10,000 while providing a fast, stable response over a wide operating frequency range. The Broadcom / Avago single-channel sensor element is built into a low noise circuit incorporating an internal CMOS operational amplifier, with a 10GΩ feedback resistor outputting a voltage signal centered around half the supply rail.
