Amphenol Air LB Germany TV Data Connectors are MIL-DTL-38999 Series III connectors featuring EMI/RFI protection and high corrosion resistance. These connectors come in nine shell sizes (from 09 to 25) with more than 80 contact arrangements. The TV data connectors feature high-density inserts that are compatible with twinax, coax, and quadrax and the receptacles come with reinforced sealing. The shell material of these connectors are made of Aluminum, stainless steel, and marine bronze. The stainless steel sheet material provides firewall capability and the marine bronze shell provides robustness for marine applications. The TV data connectors plating are made of olive drab cadmium, nickel, passivation, and black zinc nickel. These connectors are capable of quick coupling with mate and self-lock in a 360° turn of the coupling nut and anti-decoupling device for high vibration performance. The EMI/RFI protection is available via shell-to-shell bottoming and grounding fingers on the plug shell.
The contacts of the TV data connectors feature an interfacial seal that ensures sealing around each contact to prevent electrolytic erosion. These connectors are ideal for use in military and aeronautic applications including battlefield, ground vehicles, aircrafts, communication systems, and advanced industrial applications.
