Guerrilla RF GRF6402W Digital Step Attenuator

Guerrilla RF GRF6402W Digital Step Attenuator (DSA) is an SPI-controlled, bi-directional, 31.75dB range device that provides precise stepping in 0.25dB increments. The device’s serial interface utilizes three externally defined address bits, allowing up to eight unique devices to share a common SPI bus. In addition to supporting traditional serial programming, the GRF6402W also includes a unique Rapid Fire™ selection pin that allows the device to be immediately switched into a pre-defined attenuation state.

The GRF6402W covers the entire 50MHz to 6GHz range while still maintaining precise and monotonic gain stepping. Glitching has been minimized to <2dB for all steps. The device delivers up to 30.5dBm of IP0.1dB, 56.2dBm of IIP3, and a low IL of less than 1.3dB at 2GHz. The compact 3mm x 3mm QFN-16 packaged GRF6402W operates within a -40°C to +105°C temperature range.
