Infineon Technologies XMC7000 32-bit Industrial Microcontrollers are low-power 40nm process technology MCUs that provide best-in-class compute performance in high-end industrial applications. Building on the XMC™ portfolio, the XMC7000 MCUs feature more compute performance, dual-core options, increased memory, hibernate mode, and support for hardware security. The devices are equipped with peripherals such as CAN FD, TCPWM, and Gb Ethernet, increasing flexibility and value. The XMC7000 offer a single and dual Cortex®-M7 Arm® core, both supported by a Cortex-M0+ permitting designers to optimize their end products to meet the dynamic and demanding business conditions of industrial applications. Furthermore, the XMC7000 is available in multiple core/memory/package combinations, offering a comprehensive set of advanced peripherals, real-time control, and the ability to operate in high ambient environments.
The Infineon XMC7000 industrial microcontrollers can operate in harsh environments with a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. In parallel, the MCUs are an ideal choice to power critical applications due to lower-power modes down to 8µA. The XMC7000 is available in four package/pin types with 17 part number variants to meet the flexible design requirements of industrial applications.
The XMC7000 features two series, the XMC7100 and XMC7200, available in TQFP and LFBGA packages scaling from 100 to 272 pins. The XMC7000 addresses industrial market needs and is suitable for motor control, digital power conversion, and I/O applications.
