Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ4321 Synchronous Step-Down Converters

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPQ4321 Synchronous Step-Down Converters feature a 3.3V to 36V input range with 42V load dump tolerance and 1A continuous output current. These converters are frequency-configurable (350kHz to 2.5MHz) with integrated internal high-side and low-side power MOSFETs. The MPQ4321 step-down converters offer 1μA shutdown mode quiescent current that allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications. These step-down converters achieve high power conversion efficiency by scaling down the switching frequency (fSW) under light-load conditions to reduce the switching and gate-driving losses. The MPQ4321 step-down converters provide high-duty cycles and low-dropout modes for automotive cold-crank conditions. Typical applications include automotive infotainment, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), industrial power systems, and automotive clusters.
