Schurter DS11 and DT31 Smart Connectors are smart IEC appliance inlet C14s with Wi-Fi®. These connectors are panel-mount, snap-in versions from the front side with a unique mounting variant and compact design. The DS11 and DT31 connectors offer a bidirectional connection from the cloud and use a device connected via Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n or BLUETOOTH® 4.2 connectivity. Both series are compatible with V-lock cord retention. Schurter DS11 and DT31 Smart Connectors are ideal for a variety of applications, including preventive maintenance and management of electronic devices used in fleets, monitoring and visualizing processes, and recording the energy consumption of devices.
The DS11 smart connector is designed to perform its basic power entry function while allowing equipment manufacturers to offer extended functionality without the additional engineering time and cost to develop the solution. The DS11 includes a serial interface for direct connection to the host device. The DT31 smart connector incorporates the same functionality but is designed to be used as an external add-on device. This standalone, plug-and-play device can quickly and conveniently upgrade existing equipment through a daisy chain from its IEC 60320-1 C14 inlet and C13 cord connector to the equipment. The DT31 is an ideal solution for upgrading aftermarket equipment. Both the DS11 and DT31 smart connectors feature a WLAN connection.
Schurter offers a comprehensive cloud-based smart ecosystem, and a basic software package comes with the connectors. Paid upgrades are also available. The DS11 and DT31 connectors can be accessed via an Android or Apple app with a smart dashboard.
