TE Connectivity Next Generation RAST 5.0 High Retention Headers

TE Connectivity’s Next Generation RAST 5.0 High Retention Headers provide a secure connection with customizable features to meet the specific requirements of the application. The Printed Circuit Board (PCB) tabs in these retention headers are inserted from the top-down during the assembly, departing from the conventional bottom-up tab assembly method. This delivers a greater retention force and supports easier assemblies. The RAST 5.0 headers incorporate a 20A rated current, 5000MΩ insulation resistance, and 3000V/m dielectric strength. These next-generation headers are available in potted or standard versions and in a tube or bulk packaging to meet a range of assembly needs. The RAST 5.0 high-retention headers are suitable for use in front-loading washing machines, air-conditioners, and small home appliances.
