Delta Electronics V48SD Brick DC/DC Converters

Delta Electronics V48SD Brick DC/DC Converters offer a small 1/16th brick footprint and a high isolated input with a pre-biased startup. These converters feature fixed-frequency operation, 20% output voltage trim, input Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO), Over Temperature Protection (OTP), output Over Current Protection (OCP), and Over Voltage Protection (OVP). Typical applications include networking, telecom, and data center applications.

The OCP circuit endures current limiting for unlimited duration during output overload and shuts down (hiccup mode) when the output current exceeds the OCP set point. The OVP circuit monitors the voltage on the output terminals, shuts down if the voltage exceeds the overvoltage set point, and restarts after a hiccup time. The OTP consists of circuitry that protects from thermal damage.
