Infineon Technologies EiceDRIVER™ X3 Compact ICs

Infineon Technologies EiceDRIVER™ X3 Compact ICs are galvanically isolated single-channel gate driver ICs with separate outputs for IGBT, MOSFETs, and SiC MOSFETs in a DSO-8 150-mil package. EiceDRIVER™ X3 ICs provide a typical 6.5A output current with a -40°C to +150°C junction temperature range. Input logic pins operate on a wide 3V to 6.5V input voltage range using CMOS threshold levels to support 3.3V microcontrollers. Coreless transformer technology allows data transfer across the isolation barrier. The Infineon Technologies EiceDRIVER™ X3 Compact ICs feature input and output Undervoltage Lockout (UVLO) and active shutdown.

  • 45ns propagation delay with 7ns part-to-part matching (skew)
  • 35V absolute maximum output supply voltage
  • High common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of >300kV/µs
  • Separate source and sink outputs with active shutdown and short circuit clamping
  • Galvanically isolated coreless transformer gate driver
  • 3.3V and 5V input supply voltage
  • Suitable for operation at high ambient temperatures and in fast-switching applications
  • UL 1577 certification VISO = 3.0kVRMS for 1 minute
