TDK Industrial Single Pair Ethernet (SPE) Inductors are based on the IEEE 802.3cg standard for 10BASE-T1L. These SPE inductors offer all the inductors that are needed to implement industrial SPE with and without power transmission using a Power over Data Line (PoDL). The suppression of asymmetrical interference is significant in achieving interference-free data traffic. With PoDL, it is possible to connect actuators and sensors with just one pair of wires and realize both data and power transmission via this line. These inductors are RoHS compliant and designed for a -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range.
RCM70CGI-471 Common Mode Choke
The RCM70CGI-471 chokes is designed for a maximum current of 700mA at a voltage of 80V. This common mode choke has an inductance value of 470µH and is suitable for this purpose.
ICI70CGI Isolation Inductors
In some applications, the ICI70CGI isolation inductors with a transformation ratio of 1:1 solve the galvanic isolation between PHY and the connector. These inductors are available in versions with inductance values of 1.0mH and 2.2mH. The ICI70CGI inductors come with an isolation voltage of 2250VDC.
PID SMD Power Inductors
The PID SMD Power Inductors are available in different versions and cover all six power classes (10 to 15), according to IEEE 802.3cg. The spectrum of saturation currents ranges from 360mA to 2100mA. The type PIS150H-471M inductor is designed as a single choke for noise suppression and smoothing of currents with a maximum saturation current of 2300mA.
