TDK NTCWS Thermistors achieve small size, high accuracy, and reliability at high temperatures. These sensors are a type of Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) thermistors in which gold electrodes are terminated on the upper and lower surfaces of the ceramic. The NTC thermistors are semiconductor ceramics in which resistance decreases logarithmically with temperature rise. These NTCWS temperature sensors operate from -40°C to 125°C temperature range and feature ±1% resistance tolerance. The temperature sensors are available in an LD package and wire bonded by Au wire. Typical applications include temperature measurement of the laser diode of optical transceivers and LiDAR, cars, aerospace/aviation equipment, medical equipment, and nuclear power plant equipment.
