Infineon Technologies AUIR3241S Demonstration Board

Infineon Technologies AUIR3241S Demonstration Board (AUIR3241SBOARDB2BTOBO1) provides a reference circuit based on the AUIR3241S High Side MOSFET Driver. The Demonstration Board features the AUIR3241S in a semiconductor-based solution of a fail-safe/fail operational power switch for 12V automotive applications. The reference design has a back to back, N-channel MOSFET common source structure and allows replacement of mechanical relays by cutting the current flow in both directions. Additionally, the back to back structure blocks current in case of reverse battery situation. The MOSFET is protected against linear mode by UVLO (Under voltage lock-out) feature, integrated in the driver. Analog and digital circuits are implemented to monitor driver’s boost converter activity and detect gate source leakage.
