SparkFun Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kits are available with either 2GB, 4GB, or 8GB of memory, providing a desktop performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems. The SparkFun Raspberry Pi Desktop Kits provide increases in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory, and connectivity compared to the prior-generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+. This all while retaining backward compatibility and similar power consumption.
The SparkFun Raspberry Pi 4 Desktop Kits feature a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K via a pair of micro-HDMI ports, hardware video decode at up to 4Kp60, up to 8GB of RAM, dual-band 2.4/5.0GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and PoE capability (via a separate PoE HAT add-on).
The Kingston Canvas Go! Plus 64GB microSD card provides the capacity and blazing fast read-write speeds to run most operating systems for the Raspberry Pi platform. The Logitech K400 keyboard provides a plug-and-play HID solution for the system. The USB Type C wall adapter and Type-C to Type-C cable provide a modular power system for the Raspberry Pi 4.
The metal heat sink case with thermal tape provides protection for the Raspberry Pi Board and also cools the major components allowing it to run smoothly during heavy usage. The HDMI to micro-HDMI cable provides an interface to any HDMI monitors and Qwiic Shim allows for adding another level to desktop setup by attaching Qwiic boards.
