ROHM Semiconductor BM2P PWM DC-DC Converters

ROHM Semiconductor BM2P PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) DC-DC Converters are optimized for use in AC-DC devices that include an electrical outlet. The BM2P DC-DC Converters support both isolated and non-isolated devices, enabling simpler designs of various types of low-power electrical converters. These ICs feature a built-in HV starter circuit that tolerates 650V, contributing to low power consumption.

The BM2P DC-DC Converters have a 65kHz to 100kHz PWM switching frequency, based on the variant. At light loads, the switching frequency is reduced for higher efficiency. These devices also integrate a frequency hopping function, contributing to low Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). A built-in switching MOSFET which tolerates 650V to 800V also contributes to ease of design.
