e-peas EVK20940 Evaluation Board is a complete reference circuit based on the AEM20940 Thermal Energy Harvesting IC. The AEM20940 is an integrated Ambient Energy Manager (AEM) that extracts DC power from a thermoelectric generator (TEG), simultaneously storing energy in a rechargeable element and supplying the system with two independent regulated voltages.
The e-peas EVK20940 Evaluation Board allows users to demonstrate the features of the AEM20940 and analyze its performances in a laboratory-like setting. It allows for easy connection to the thermoelectric generator (TEG) energy harvester, the storage element, and the low-voltage and high-voltage loads. The Evaluation Board also provides configuration access to set the device in any one of the modes described in the datasheet. The control and status signals are available on standard pin headers, allowing users to wire for any scenario and evaluate the relevant performance.
