Mikroe RTC 11 Click is designed to maximize battery life and reduce overall battery requirements in wearable applications. The board features the Abracon LLC AB0815 Real-Time Clock with ultra-low-power coupled with a highly sophisticated feature set. The AB0815 includes an on-chip oscillator to provide low power consumption, full RTC functions like battery backup, programmable counters, and alarms for timer and watchdog functions. It has a low 22nA power requirement and communicates with an MCU using the SPI interface. The board is ideal for applications like portable applications, wearables, medical equipment, and similar.
