NXP Semiconductors MCSPTR2A5775E Motor Control Kit

NXP Semiconductors MCSPTR2A5775E Motor Control Kit expands on the highly integrated MPC5775E microcontroller and enables complex electric motor drives. The kit does this in the most efficient way for applications targeting up to ISO 26262 ASIL D. The kit uses an enhanced time processing unit (eTPU) to offload the CPU and manage the PWM. It also uses a software resolver digital converter (RDC) and has a FOC motor control algorithm, if needed. The eTPU architecture enables a single-chip solution to run sophisticated motor control systems without the need for a separate hardware resolver-to-digital converter. The eTPU can be used in three different configurations for maximum effectiveness.
