Pimoroni PIM525 PA1010D GPS Breakout Board

Pimoroni PIM525 PA1010D GPS Breakout Board is designed with a GPS receiver module with an inbuilt ceramic antenna. This module extracts date and time, latitude and longitude, speed, and altitude data from satellites. The GPS board includes a supercapacitor that acts as a short-term backup battery for GPS data. This enables the module to lock back onto signals much more quickly after power down. The PA1010D breakout board also comes with an indicator LED that will flash whenever the module has a satellite fix.

The PA1010D GPS breakout board can be used with weather stations or other measuring devices to give accurate time, date, and location stamps data. This GPS breakout board features reverse polarity protection, two M2.5 mounting holes, and compatibility with all models of Raspberry Pi and Arduino. This PA1010D GPS breakout board is available in 28mm x 21mm x 9mm dimensions.
