Analog Devices Inc. TMC2225-EVAL-KIT Evaluation Kit is a complete modular demonstration and development platform for the TMC2225 Stepper Driver. The TMC2225 provides an integrated motor driver solution for 3D printing, cameras, scanners, and other automated equipment applications. The TMC2225 features StealthChop silent drive technology, ensuring noiseless operation, maximum efficiency, and the best motor torque.
The ADI TMC2225-EVAL-KIT Evaluation Kit includes the TMC2225-EVAL Board, the Landungsbrücke Microcontroller Board, and the Eselsbrücke Connector Board. The TMC2225-EVAL Board features the TMC2225 Stepper Driver in an HTSSOP28 package. The TMC2225-EVAL uses the standard schematic for the TMC2225 and offers several options to test different modes of operation.
The Landungsbrücke Microcontroller Board enables connection between the TMC2225-EVAL-KIT and a PC. Users can download the latest firmware revisions, modify the firmware, or create their own and update it via USB. The code of the Landungsbrücke is open source for download.
The Eselsbrücke Connector Board acts as a bridge between the TMC2225-EVAL Board and the Landungsbrücke Microcontroller Board. The Eselsbrücke Connector Board also includes test probe points for all signals between the MCU and Evaluation Board.
The TMC2225-EVAL Board is also offered separately.
The TMCL-IDE (Analog Devices Inc. Motion Control Language – Integrated Development Environment) enables the user to develop applications using ADI modules and chips. The Graphical User Interface (GUI) provides tools for easily setting parameters, visualizing data in real-time, and developing and debugging stand-alone applications.
