SECO SENSE-D01 Sensor to Cloud is an embedded board designed to quickly and easily add Wi-Fi® and BLUETOOTH®/BLE connectivity to IoT applications, such as low-power sensor networks. SENSE-D01 is powered by the Espressif Systems ESP32-D0WDQ6 Wi-Fi/BT/BLE SoC (System-on-a-Chip) equipped with ultra-low power, dual-core 240MHz processor, 4MB SPI Flash, and 8MB SPI Pseudo-Static RAM (PSRAM).
The SECO SENSE-D01 features a wide range of peripherals, including a CAN Bus, UART, ADC and DAC, and 8 GPIO. A MicroSD slot provides external storage and three onboard LEDs provide status information. The SENSE-D01 is suitable for both consumer IoT and industrial applications, due to its rich connectivity, industrial-grade components, and its ability to accept supply voltages from +9V to 24VDC.
The SENSE-D01 is designed to run Micro EDGEHOG OS, a real-time operating system for IoT-powered microcontrollers based on FreeRTOS. The SENSE-D01 can also adapt to existing software solutions, tools, and programming environments, such as MicroPython, Arduino (C++), ESP-IDF (Espressif IoT Development Framework), Zephyr Project (scalable RTOS), Mongoose OS, and others. EDGEHOG, SECO’s IoT Service platform, is also available for use, with a Device Manager and support for OTA (Over-the-Air) updates.
