Texas Instruments TMUX646EVM Switch Evaluation Module (EVM)

Texas Instruments TMUX646EVM Switch Evaluation Module (EVM) supports the evaluation of the TMUX646, a 10-channel switch in the 36-pin BGA (ZEC) package. This evaluation module can be used for quick prototyping and testing of the device, specifically for DC parameters. The TMUX646EVM allows for easily configurable loads for DC characterization. The Texas Instruments TMUX646EVM provides the option of testing one of the channels with SMA connectors by utilizing the pads for SMA ports, a second TMUX646 in a BGA (ZEC) package, and termination resistors.

  • Quick prototyping and testing setup for the TMUX646 36-pin BGA package (ZEC)
  • One TMUX646 installed (U1), with another TMUX646 pad available for one-channel SMA testing (U2)
  • Supply decoupling capacitors installed for both U1 and U2
  • Additional 0603 capacitor pad available for U1
  • Component footprint option to add resistors and capacitors as single or differential loads on all analog I/O pins for U1
  • Six SMA pads (one-channel of TMUX646) along with termination resistor pads on U2 to test using SMA I/O for one-channel
