Infineon Technologies EVAL-M1-101TF Modular Application Design Kit

Infineon Technologies EVAL-M1-101TF Modular Application Design Kit (MADK) is powered by the IMC101T-F048 iMOTION™ Motor Control IC featuring advanced Motor Control Engine (MCE), that enables state-of-the-art Sensorless Field Oriented Control (FOC) without need for any coding. The iMOTION IMC100 High-Performance Motor Control ICs integrate the hardware and algorithm for a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM).

The control board, combined with a matching iMOTION MADK power board with an M1 connector, creates a broad portfolio of 3-phase inverter options, scalable in power ratings and operating voltages.

Before setting up and running the motor control system, the user needs to download the following files from the iMOTION Tools & Software webpage:

  • IMC101F-T048 MCE Software Package, containing the latest MCE firmware image, corresponding default configuration files, and release notes
  • MCEWizard and MCEDesigner PC tools are required for system configuring, controlling, tuning, and monitoring
