STMicroelectronics EVALMASTERGAN3 Demonstration Board provides a Half-Bridge topology reference design based on the MASTERGAN3 High Voltage Driver with integrated GaN eHEMTs. The integrated power GaNs feature an RDS(ON) of 150mΩ and 650V drain-source breakdown voltage. The integrated bootstrap diode can quickly supply the high side of the embedded gate driver.
The STMicroelectronics EVALMASTERGAN3 Demonstration Board features a pre-installed MASTERGAN3 Driver in a QFN package. The Demonstration Board also includes an onboard programmable input deadtime generator with a single VCC supply. An embedded linear voltage regulator offers a 3.3V rail to supply low voltage logic circuits like microcontrollers or FPGAs.
Spare footprints are included to enable customizing the board for the final application, such as separate input signal or single PWM signal, use of optional external bootstrap diode, separate supply for VCC, PVCC, or Vbo, and the use of low-side shunt resistor for peak current mode topologies.
