STMicroelectronics M24256X-F 256Kbit serial I²C Bus EEPROM

STMicroelectronics M24256X-F 256Kbit serial I²C Bus EEPROM operates with a supply voltage from 1.65V to 3.6V, a clock frequency up to 1MHz, over an ambient temperature range from -40°C to +85°C. The M24256X-F 256Kbit serial I²C Bus EEPROM is organized as 32K x 8 bits.

The M24256X-F provides a 64-byte page, named identification page, which stores sensitive application parameters that can be (later) permanently locked in read-only mode. A first 8-bit register, called configurable device address (CDA) register, authorizes the user to configure up to eight possibilities of chip enable address through software. A second 8-bit register, named software write protection (SWP), authorizes the user to write-protect a part or the whole memory array through software.
