Renesas Electronics FPB-RA4E1 Fast Prototyping Board is a demonstration and development platform for the RA4E1 32-Bit Microcontroller (MCU) Group. The RA4E1 MCUs combine a high-performance 100MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with ultra-low active power consumption. These MCUs feature up to 512KB Code Flash memory with background operation, 8KB Data Flash memory, and 128KB SRAM with Parity. These highly integrated devices include a wide range of connectivity options, including USB 2.0 Full-Speed, SPI and Quad SPI, I2C, and CAN2.0B. The RA4E1 MCUs also incorporate Arm TrustZone® security and safety features along with a 12-bit A/D Converter (ADC12) and a 12-bit D/A Converter (DAC12).
The Renesas Electronics FPB-RA4E1 Fast Prototyping Board includes a pre-installed RA4E1 MCU, a USB interface that can connect to a PC, an onboard debugger, and connections for expansion options. Users can develop embedded systems applications using the Flexible Software Package (FSP).
The Renesas Electronics RA Flexible Software Package (FSP) provides a quick and versatile way to build secure connected IoT devices using the Renesas RA Family of Arm microcontrollers. FSP provides production-ready peripheral drivers, FreeRTOS, and middleware stacks to take advantage of the FSP ecosystem.
