Renesas Electronics RTKA214220DR0000BU Demonstration Board provides a simple evaluation platform for the RAA214220 Low Dropout (LDO) Linear Regulator. The RAA214220 LDO Regulator features a wide 2.5V to 20.0V input voltage range with excellent line and load regulation. The output voltage of the device is adjustable with an external resistor network between the output pin and ground. The RAA214220 integrates fault protection such as over-temperature shut down (OTSD) and short-circuit current limit. The low-power consumption and compact size of the RAA214220 make it ideal for battery-powered and USB devices.
The Renesas Electronics RTKA214220DR0000BU Demonstration Board features a pre-installed RAA214220 LDO Linear Regulator in a 5-pin TSOT23 package. The Demonstration Board includes an input capacitor, output capacitor, and a resistor divider to set the output voltage. Connectors for input, output, and the Enable signal are populated on the board to allow for simple connections. Also, the pads for these connectors can be used to solder or connect the small demonstration board to other systems.
