Micron 2450 Solid State Drives (SSD) with NVMe® combine PCIe Gen4 performance and very low power consumption to provide next-generation mobile, agile computing. The 2450 SSDs are offered in ultra-compact 22mm x 30mm, standard 22mm x 80mm, and mid-sized 22mm x 42mm M.2 form factor choices, supporting a wide variety of designs. Capacity points start at 256GB, ideal for entry-level configurations, and scale to 1TB for more demanding applications. The 2450 SSDs are based on 176-Layer NAND technology for improved performance. These devices feature a read throughput of up to 3.6GB/s and a write throughput of up to 3.0GB/s to improve the responsiveness of any application.
The ultra-low power consumption of the 2450 SSDs dramatically extends compute time. These devices consume less than 3mW in the Sleep power state and less than 400mW in the Active Idle Power state. Due to advanced power efficiency, the Micron 2450 SSDs are listed on the Intel® Modem Standby Partner Platform Component List and meet the Open Labs’ SSD test requirements of Intel’s Project Athena. The 2450 SSDs are also validated with the TCG Opal 2.01 and Pyrite 2.01 security standards to combat advanced security threats.
