Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM54504 Quad DC-DC Power Module

Monolithic Power Systems (MPS) MPM54504 Quad DC-DC Power Module is a 16V module with a 5A output array. The MPM54504 step-down power module offers excellent load and line regulation across a wide 3V to 16V input voltage range. Furthermore, the MPM54504 features internal auto compensation, requiring no external compensation components.

The MPS MPM54504 quad DC-DC power module output voltage adjusts from 0.6V to 5.5V and is able to be set through a single resistor. Constant-on-time (COT) control allows ultrafast transient response and eases loop stabilization. Complete protection features consist of over-current protection (OCP), short-circuit protection (SCP), under-voltage lockout (UVLO), over-voltage protection (OVP), and thermal shutdown.

The MPM54504 integrates a monolithic power stage and inductors that support passive components, thus achieving high efficiency. The device is encapsulated in a BGA (9mm x 15mm x 5mm) package.
