Texas Instruments DRV8770EVM Gate Driver Evaluation Module (EVM) allows easy evaluation of the DRV8770 device. The DRV8770 device provides two half-bridge gate drivers, each capable of driving high-side and low-side N-channel power MOSFETs. The DRV8770 is equipped with protection features such as BST undervoltage lockout, GVDD undervoltage, and thermal shutdown.
The evaluation module has an onboard buck converter and LDOs to provide the power to all the board components and the H-bridge high side power supply. The evaluation module is equipped with potentiometers used to set the duty cycle of the input control pins (INHA, INLA, INHB, INLB). The Texas Instruments DRV8770EVM can be modified to support external microcontrollers to control the DRV8770 motor driver.
