NXP Semiconductors NTS0304EUK-ARD Level Shifter Evaluation Board is a demonstration and development platform for the NTS0304E Translating Transceiver. The NTS0304E is a 4-bit, dual-supply level translator designed to address applications that need a transition of voltage signals through multiple domains. With auto-direction sensing and an ultra-low 0.95V minimum supply, this device matches up well with low-voltage microcontrollers and FPGAs.
The NXP Semiconductors NTS0304EUK-ARD Level Shifter Evaluation Board serves as a daughterboard that can be connected through an Arduino port to Arduino-compatible development boards for testing and measuring the characteristics of the NTS0304E Device Under Test (DUT). The Evaluation Board allows the ability to test and measure the static and dynamic characteristics of the DUT by accessing a digital potentiometer with the SPI and I2C interfaces. Alongside the digital potentiometer, the board contains a loopback circuit allowing the user to test the bidirectional capabilities of the DUT IC.
The DUT is tested for different logic levels applied to both sides of the level translator by supplying the NTS0304E IC with two independent voltage programmable power supplies. The power supplies are controlled by the motherboard (EVK) through the same Arduino port. Power is delivered to Evaluation Board through the Arduino port also.
The NXP Semiconductors PCF85263ATL-ARD Evaluation Board is designed to work with the i.MX RT1050 EVK Evaluation Kit (MIMXRT1050-EVKB), the LPCXpresso55S69 Development Board (LPC55S69-EVK), or the i.MX 8M Mini Evaluation Kit (8MMINILPD4-EVKB). If the i.MX 8M Mini Evaluation Kit is used, the Arduino Interposer Board (IMX8MMINI-IARD) is also required.
