Infineon Technologies OPTIREG™ Linear TLS850C2TEV33 Demo Board (TLS850C2TEV33BOARDTOBO1) is an evaluation platform for the TLS850C2TE V33 OPTIREG Low Dropout Linear Voltage Regulator. The TLS850C2TE V33 is a high-performance, 500mA automotive LDO with RESET functionality. With an input voltage range of 3V to 40V, the TLS850C2TE V33 is perfectly suitable for automotive or other supply systems permanently connected to a battery. The very low quiescent current of only 20µA makes this device ideal for always-on applications. The Reset feature supervises the output voltage, including under-voltage reset and delayed reset at power-on. The ultra-low dropout makes the device suitable for automotive systems that need to operate during cranking conditions.
The Infineon Technologies TLS850C2TEV33 Demo Board allows for an easy plug-and-play solution to evaluate the TLS850C2TE V33 with all necessary external components already mounted on the board. The delay timing of the Reset functionality is selectable between 2 values by using the delay capacitance jumper. For additional design verification, placeholder sockets for additional output capacitance are available. Dedicated test points allow advanced verification on the Input, Output, and Reset Output.
